I made these download confetti cards for Junkface to celebrate/promote their new album Bigalila. The idea had been floating around for the past month or so but the actual design, website, printing all took place within a 48 hour period leading right up to the night of the show. Between 2000-2500 of these one inch three color letterpressed confetti cards were thrown into the crowd at an all ages show at Berbatis Pan tonight. Each card has a web address that will take you to junkface.wantstogiveyou.com and allow you to download a zip file with seven Junkface tracks hand picked by yours truly. The new record is amazing and I hope this helps people get their hands on it.
So during the process of making confetti download cards for Junkface, I decided to just make a simple website to put the files on. With some last minute help from my friend Brent Swaine, we came up with wantstogiveyou.com. It is in the beginning phases but should get better and better over the next month. Basically it is a chance for our friends to share there music, videos, whatever, with the world. The name is www.wantstogiveyou.com, the sub name comes first...ex www.junkface.wantstogiveyou.com. I am excited to work on this, I'll keep you posted as we make changes.
