Cinema Minimal Printing

finally printing the covers for the cinema minimal eps. the project consists of four eps that are each themed after the season. all the contents once completed are sewn shut, revealing the letter-pressed season sticker inside through the circle die-cut. to retrive the cd and insert inside you tear the perforated top. the back of the cover, a lightbulb design and numbering 1-100 per season. photos by seneca lacombe

Business Card

So keeping in the spirit of using whats around, another experiment in hand set type today. I used some cut off from an Egg Press job and used color on the press. Everything came together on this one right at the end finishing the card with the old ornaments I've been eying and dying to get on a card. It has been challenging learning to hand set, but has lead to some inspiring moments.

Later that night was the premier of a cartoon called Nathan and Nordrich. Carlos has been working on the music for the short and wanted some cards to be able to hand out to the fans. The cartoon was awesome, they had free popcorn, and I got to drink Coke in a bottle! WIN WIN WIN.
