Troll Skull

The color of the past few months.

Over the past few months every time there was an interesting color on the press at work I would print fifteen to twenty of these troll stickers, well actually just the first color, and I kept them in a pile until I got through the entire stack of sticker paper. And then today I went down on a rainy day and printed the black and die-cut the stickers with a rounded corner die. I'll try and get up some photos of the other colors asap.

Circumpolor Westerlies

This is the complete packaging for Circumpolar Westerlies, the full length release from Swim Swam Swum. The entire piece is letter pressed and packaged using re-claimed jewel cases. The die cut cover and bright color palette add to the dream like quality of the illustration. I will try and get some more photos up of this piece over the next week or two. I am just so pleased with the end result I couldn't wait.

die-cut

I finally got the die-cut made for the SSS album. I am in love with this die-cut! It was the final piece in this CD packaging. The die made such clean lines, once the insert was scored and assembled into the jewel case it gives the insert dimension. I can't wait to see these in the record shop.

so while printing the swim swam swum album art, i slacked off and printed seventy-five of them with the lyrics upside down. so once the covers were cut down and die-cut the lyrics are cut off, bummer. so instead of trashing them i set up some wood type and printed a giant red promo through the middle of the lyrics.
